A Great Start!

It’s been a whirlwind of activity over here at Cary Creative (reuse) Center (C3)!  We’re only two months into our C3 Raise the Roof Campaign, and we already have two food truck rodeos, Bookmarked!, and the Belk Charity Sale behind us!  Between these events, and the monies raised so far through the Jack Johnson matching grant, we are pleased to announce that as of this date, the C3 Raise the Roof Campaign has raised over $4,700!

This is a huge accomplishment for our young nonprofit.  Did you know that C3 is an all volunteer organization?  And even with all that we’ve brought you so far, we’re still working diligently behind the scenes to bring you even more great events.

$4,700 still leaves us with a long way to go to reach our goal of $60,000 by September, but it’s a fantastic start.  We are extremely grateful for all of our volunteers, and for everyone who has donated or participated in any of our events so far.  If you would like to help contribute to the continued success of C3, there are several ways you can do so:

  • Donate between now and September and have your funds matched dollar for dollar by the Johnson Ohana foundation!
  • Buy a C3 Pura Vida bracelet.
  • Come by the store and do a little shopping! Take advantage of our always low prices on great arts, crafts, and school supplies.
  • Attend a future C3 Raise the Roof Campaign event!

In fact, our biggest event, the “Make Art, Not Waste Bohemian Bash”, an evening featuring a live and silent auction, is yet to come on July 17, 2014! We look forward to dishing the details in the very near future. Save the date and stay tuned!
